Hyderabad can now boast of another world-class convention centre with Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar inaugurating the Leonia International Centre for Exhibitions and Conventions (LICEC) in the city on Thursday.The multi-purpose LICEC can accommodate 7,500 delegates at one time and the area of the pillar-free main hall is 5,838 sq metres.
The centre was built by Leo Meridian Infrastructure Projects and Hotels Ltd at a cost of Rs 200 crore and the total investment into the campus that comprises various other facilities is Rs 800 crore, company officials said.
