Cruising & Pleasure Boating

Launch Unit: 

A motor launch ride along the 110 km stretch between the two irrigation projects (i.e) Nagarjunasagar to Srisailam is worth the while. The cruiser will be operated for ferrying visitors to & from Nagarjunakonda, or a three –hour leisure cruise upstream of Nagarjunasagar covering lunchtime. 

AP Tourism does it for the traveller’s comfort as the principal focus, even while taking maximum care to preserve the precious environment. With the success of the luxury cruises at Hyderabad, the Corporation has decided to introduce luxury River Cruise on Krishna River at Nagarjunasagar. 

SHANTISIRI:

Named after a princess who was the patron of Buddhism. Shantisiri commissioned in May 2002 is a luxury 150-seat capacity doubledeck cruiser with 75 seat air-conditioned restaurant on the lower deck, with a beer bar attached. 75 seater opened upper deck with stage, television with video & sophisticated public address system (for advertising, stage shows, promotions & audio-visual presentation), lilting music that lifts spirits, excellent lighting that adds a dazzle flora & fauna can be watched on either side of the cruise during the river journey. It is ideal for Conferences & Board Meetings, picnics, excursions, dinner parties & so on.
