Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation created innovative concepts in
river cruises, leisure and water sports which has been very successfully
promoted throughout Andhra Pradesh.
APTDC's water fleet consists of state of the art cruises, speed, pedal,
mechanized boats and shikaras with new exciting boats being added to the fleet.
APTDC launched cruises on the River Godavari with intention of promoting
adventure tourism and popular weekend getaways at affordable rates.
Parasailing in the Hussain Sagar Lake at Hyderabad is one of the many projects
made famous by APTDC. The first corporation to introduce this water sport in
inland water body.
Whether parties, family get-togethers, meetings, conferences everyone can enjoy
the beauty and scenery of Andhra Pradesh main rivers and lakes through APTDC's

Sagar Lake, located in heart of the city, is the
oldest excavated lake in the city. It came into
existence, about 450 yrs ago, even before
Hyderabad was built.

Hussain Sagar Lake
Hussain Sagar Lake is a large artificial lake
within the city, where one can enjoy many
exciting activities like speed/mechanized &
deluxe boats, parasailing, rowing and ferry to
the Buddha Statue. The Buddha Statue is the
largest monolithic statue in the world weighing
320tons and stands at a majestic height of 17
meters.

Nagarjuna Sagar to Srisailam river cruise
in River Krishna on the Cruiser Agasthya is a

provided by APTDC. The track snakes through the
Nallamalai forest and beautiful hill ranges and
