Tyda - Jungle Bells
Tyda is a small village nesting in the wooden hills of the Eastern Ghats on the way to Araku from Visakhapatnam. Tyda is located at an altitude of 1520 feet above sea level. 'Jungle Bells' provides the best environment for bird watching, forest treks and coming closer to nature and wildlife.

Maredumilli

Maredumilli in East Godavari is in the heart of undisturbed patch of Eastern Ghats Forests, which is home to the bison, sambar, spotted deer and tigers. The Jungle Star camping site is located on the banks of Pamuleru. One can see coffee, rubber and pepper plantations at Maredumilli.

It is natures lovers paradise located adjacent to river Pamuleru, the camp has a stream flowing on three sides overlooking the battle ground of Vali-Sugriva. Mamandur

Mamandur in Chittoor district is 20km from Tirupati. Mamandur boasts of unique fauna like slender loris the golden geko (a reptile) which are found only in these hills. The trek routes from Mamandur will culminate at Tirumala, the abode of Lord Balaji. History also suggests that the famous composer Annamayya walked on this path for a darshan of Lord Balaji. The last sighting of the Asiatic Cheetah is also recorded from Mamandur Forest.

Nagarjuna Sagar

Located 170km from Hyderabad, is Nagarjuna Sagar Dam and 18 km from Nagarjuna Sagar is Ettipotala Waterfalls which is a pleasant picnic spot. The waterfall has a stream Chandravanka cascading down 22 meters to join Krishna River. The waterfalls are illuminated in the evenings with dynamic lighting giving the visitor a splendid sight to see. A crocodile breeding center is established here by the Forest Department. The largest wildlife sanctuary lies between Nagarjuna Sagar and upstream Srisailiam.

Talakona

Talakona is a pristine patch of Jalari Forest, resembling the rain forest. One can get a chance to see the world's largest bean pod here. This nature sot is in clse proximity to Horsley Hills, one of the best hill resorts in Andhra Pradesh, tucked away in the hill ranges near Madanapalle in Chittoor District at an altitude if 1265 meters.

Nellore District

Pulicat Sanctuary is located in Nellore District, 500 Sq. Km of flora and fauna and the back waters of Pulicate lake attract large congregation if flamingos, Heon, Stork etc.

Accessibility: 10 km buy road from Sullurpet railway station and 50 km by road from Chennai.

Nelapattu Bird Santuary is located in Nellore District - a small water fresh water lake with Barringtonia trees provide nesting ground for Pelicans, Storks, Ducks etc. Villages of Nelapattu offer full protection to these birds.
